Portalarium To Launch On Zynga

Austin-based game publisher Portalarium is one of the third-party, game publishers which are getting a chance to launch on Zynga.com this fall, the company said this morning. Portalarium, the gaming firm which has the backing of famed game designer Richard Garriott, said the partnership with Zynga will bring its Ultimate Collector game to Zynga's network. Zynga announced its effort to distribute games from third party developers this morning, in what it says is the first time it has let third party developers make their games available on its own site. Ultimate Collector revolves around the hunt for a range of collectibles. The firm is venture backed by m8 Capital, FF Angel, and BHV Venture Capital.
