Portalarium Snags New Funding

Austin-based Portalarium, the videogame developer co-founded by gaming designer Richard Garriott, said today that it has raised a second round of bridge financing. The firm said the funding came from UK investor m8 Capital, as well as the Founders Fund. Size of the funding was not disclosed, however, the company said it has now raised $3.6M over the last year for its social media game development efforts. Portalarium is headed by Fred Schmidt.
