Affinegy Gets Win With Clearwire

Austin, Texas-based Affinegy LLC, a developer of broadband installation and management software, announced Wednesday that wireless Internet service provider Clearwire Corp. has selected an Affinegy product to help grow Clearwire's business. Affinegy said Clearwire will use Affinegy’s InstaLAN software to set up and secure home Wi-Fi network connections for Clearwire customers. Clearwire, which is headquartered in Kirkland, Wash., joins Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications and Charter in using Affinegy to deploy their home networking services, Affinegy said.
