Q2 Sees $233M In Texas Venture Deals

Ernst & Young and VentureOne have released their quarterly venture capital reports, finding that there was $233.15M in venture capital deals in Texas last quarter. The report tallied a total of $7.4 billion in deals nationwide, and 717 venture capital deals--the highest since 2001. In terms of dollars, funds raised by companies nationwide using venture capital increased by 8% year to year.
