Texas Sees $256.9M In Deals In Q2
PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association released its quarterly venture capital survey over the weekend, reporting that Texas had $256.9M in 36 deals for the quarter. The monetary totals were a drop from Q1, when the report found that there were $361.4M in 37 deals. Nationally, there was $7.4B invested in 990 deals, which was flat from Q1, when $7.5M in 977 deals were totaled in the report. Nationally, the most active industries were software, with $1.25B invested, and the industrial/energy sector, with $1.2B.
