LifeSize Extends Reach to China, U.K.

High-definition video equipment manufacturer LifeSize announced earlier this week that it has extended its reach to the United Kindgom and China. The Pan Birmingham Cancer Network, an organization that helps facilitate health care for cancer patients in the Birmingham, England, area, has chosen LifeSize as the high-definition video communications provider for its new telemedicine program, LifeSize said. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, LifeSize said the U.K. firm of Questmark Ltd. will handle the installation. Additionally, LifeSize has signed a reseller agreement with Shenzhen Hivision Video Communications Tech Co. Ltd., a distributor of high-definition video communications equipment based in Shenzhen, China. LifeSize said the Chinese reseller will deliver and support the Austin, Texas-based company’s entire line of high-definition video communications equipment.
