RF Code Adds RFID Reader

Austin, Texas-based RF Code, a developer of RFID hardware products, said Wednesday that it has added a new long-range, mobile reader to its lineup of RFID products. RF Code said that the new reader is focused on automatic tracking and inventory, and is in a portable and wearable form factor. RF Code's new device also includes Bluetooth connectivity which links the RFID reader to any Bluetooth capable computer. RF Code is venture backed by Hunt Holdings, Intel Capital and QuestMark Partners. The firm recently relocated to Austin from Arizona, after receiving a venture capital injection in July.
