CREDANT, Intel to Provide Integrated Encryption Tool
Addison, Texas-based CREDANT Technologies, a publisher of mobile data protection software, reported Wednesday that it has partnered with semiconductor manufacturer Intel to develop a new single-point management application for Intel's newly announced Danbury Technology hardware-based encryption. CREDANT said the proposed application will include policy administration, key escrow, encryption enforcement, data recovery and compliance reporting. CREDANT said the combined solution will help organizations more easily comply with data breach regulations. The company said it will distribute the new functionality as a standard feature in its flagship Mobile Guardian product once Intel's Danbury ships in Q3 2008.
