Sipera Gets $10M

Richardson, Texas-based Sipera Systems said today that it has raised $10M in a Series C funding. The new round of funding was led by Duchossois Technology Partners, and also included prior investors Austin Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and STAR Ventures. Sipera is a developer of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) security products. Sipera said the funding will go towards expanding the firm's sales and support into other geographies, enhancing capabilities for its products, and expanding its consulting services.
