Sipera Gets Nortel Certification

Richardson-based Sipera Systems, a provider of security products for the VoIP market, has scored a certification of its products with Nortel. Sipera said that its Sipera IPS security appliances have been designated a "Nortel Select Product." The designation allows Nortel resellers to order Sipera's products through Nortel and its channel partners. Sipera's product are used for security of VoIP systems; the firm is venture backed by Austin Ventures, DTEC, Sequoia Capital and Star Ventures.
