Entrust Gets Win In Tennessee
Dallas-based Entrust Inc., a publisher of data encryption software, announced Wednesday that it has licensed its Entelligence Disk Security and Media Security applications to Tennessee's Department of Revenue. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Entrust develops key encryption tools that utilize the Secure Sockets Layer, or SSL, communications protocol. The software, Entrust said, will be installed in 550 laptops based at the department's 19 host offices, including those in Nashville, Memphis, New York City, Boston, Chicago and Houston. The department employs more than 1,160 people.
