LabNow Raises $20M
Austin-based LabNow has raised $20M in a Series B funding, the firm announced last week. The funding was led by Sammons Enterprises, and included Austin Ventures and other undisclosed syndicate of private and venture investors. LabNow develops point-of-care diagnostic systems for the healthcare industry. The firm said the funding will go towards completing late-stage development and launching its initial products. The company said its initial products will be used in staging and monitoring the treatment of HIV/AIDs patients. More information »
