uControl Raises $3.9M

Austin-based uControl, a developer of home security monitoring systems and technology, has raised $3.9M as part of an ongoing, $9.0M fundraising effort, according to a regulatory filing by the firm this week. Source of the funding was not disclosed. uControl is headed by Jim Johnson, who previously as VP and General Manager of TippingPoint, before its acquisition by 3Com. More information »
