CompuCom Names CIO

Dallas IT outsourcing firm CompuCom Systems said today that it has named Laurie Simon as Chief Information Officer for the firm. According to CompuCom, Simon will lead the firm's day-to-day IT operations, and set IT strategy and execute key initiatives. Simon was most recently at EDS, and has also served at Capital One Auto Finance, Texas Utilities, and Mobile Research and Development Corporation.
