DG FastChannel to Power Warner Ad Campaign
DG FastChannel Inc., a provider of digital media services to the advertising and broadcast industries, reported Monday that it and business partner Viewpoint Corp. will help Warner Bros.' internationally promote its new DVD releases through conventional and online media methods. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. However, DG FastChannel explained that the movie studio's subsidiary, Warner Home Video Inc., will rely on DG FastChannel to handle the television distribution of broadcast commercials while Viewpoint's Unicast service will create interactive Premium Rich Media ads for the campaign. Headquartered in Dallas, DG FastChannel also maintains technical operations centers in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit and San Francisco.
