NewsStand Links With Houston Chronicle
Austin-based NewsStand, a provider of digital content delivery software, said yesterday that it has linked with the Houston Chronicle in a program to delivery electronic papers to students. NewsStand said the Chronicle has tapped the firm's technology for a new "eEdition" which is delivered to Texas classrooms. The electronic version of the paper replaces hard copy papers which were previously delivered to schools. NewsStand is venture backed by Adams Capital Management, Noro-Moseley Partners, the New York Times Company and HarperCollins Publishers.
