NewsStand Gets Investment

Austin, Texas-based NewsStand has received an investment from HarperCollins Publishers, as part of a deal with HarperCollins and LibreDigital, a division of the firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. HarperCollins and LibreDigital are working together on digital services for publishers, including digital typesetting, production, and digital warehousing. NewsStand provides digital content and delivery products for magazine, newspaper, and book publishers. Brian Murray, Group President of HarperCollins, will join NewStand's board of directors as part of the deal. More information »
