NewsStand Renames Firm LibreDigital, Hires CEO
Austin-based NewsStand said Friday that it has renamed itself LibreDigital, and also hired a new President and CEO. NewsStand said that it has changed its name to LibreDigital to reflect its "expanding set of product solutions to a broader set of publishers." The firm has also named Russell P. Reeder as President and CEO. Reeder joins the firm from NxTV, where he was president and COO. Reeder has also served at RightsLine. Reeder is also joining the firm's board. NewsStand is backed by Harper Collins and provides digital content and delivery products for magazine, newspaper, and book publishers.
