ACS, Ingenix Create Consulting Alliance

Dallas-based Affiliated Computer Services Inc., a provider of health care program administration and other IT management services, revealed Thursday that it will team with Ingenix to offer Medicaid management information systems consulting. The financial impact of the strategic alliance was not disclosed. ACS explained that it and Ingenix will collaborate to analyze and later advise on the MMIS initiatives of state governments. ACS said it will license its portfolio of federally certified decision support technologies to Ingenix, which, in turn, will provide ACS' clients with various decision support methodologies, software applications and related consulting services. Ingenix is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minn.
