StarVision Technologies Gets $750K

StarVision Technologies, a College Station, Texas-based aerospace research and development company, has raised $750K in an investment from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund. The investment was announced by Governor Rick Perry Wednesday. The Houston Technology Center (HTC) and Gulf Coast Regional Center of Innovation and Commercialization (Gulf Coast RCIC) said that the investment will go towards completion of a new altitude determination sensor system being developed by StarVision, which is expected to improve the performance and reduce costs for satellites.
