Convio Signs Nonprofit Boys and Girls Clubs

Convio, a publisher of on-demand customer relationship management software for nonprofit organizations, reported Tuesday that its application suite will help the Boys & Girls Clubs of America raise funds and perform other mission-critical tasks through its national donor outreach efforts. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. The Boys & Girls Club of America is a national network of more than 4,000 neighborhood-based facilities serving some 4.8 million youth in all 50 states and on U.S. military bases worldwide. Convio said the club will use its e-mail marketing and fund-raising applications, which will help supporters create Web sites in memory or honor of a friend or loved one. Convio is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
