Convio Signs Genetic Disease Organization
Convio, a publisher of on-demand customer relationship management software for nonprofit organizations, revealed Monday that The Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation is using a Convio application to power its online fund-raising efforts. The OI Foundation is a volunteer organization dedicated to helping people cope with osteogenesis imperfecta, a genetic disorder characterized by bones that break easily. Convio said the foundation's members employ Convio's TeamRaiser application in support of their annual Bone China Tea fund-raising event. Convio explained that the fund-raiser is a virtual tea party that runs from January through April. Convio is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
