Lombardi Reveals New Business Group, President
Lombardi, a publisher of business process management software, reported Monday that it has created a new business group and made several key changes to its executive lineup. Lombardi said its new Global Business Solutions group combines its Products Group and Global Services and Support organizations into one operating unit. The new group, Lombardi explained, will define and deliver all of the Austin, Texas-based company's BPM platforms and solutions. In a related move, Phil Gilbert, formerly Lombardi's executive vice president of products and chief technical officer, has been promoted to president. Meanwhile, Greg Pope, who launched Lombardi's European business unit in 2005, will try to do the same in the Asia-Pacific region. Alan Godfrey will succeed Pope in Europe as executive vice president and general manager. Additionally, Lombardi announced the promotion of three employees to vice presidential roles: Peter Morris will oversee European Sales, Jim Rudden will command Global Marketing and Rainer Ribback will supervise the BPM Delivery unit.
