Sipera Names New CEO

Richardson-based Sipera Systems, which develops voice over IP and other communications security products, said today that it has appointed John Lochow as the firm's President and CEO. Lochow joins the firm from Syndesis Limited, which was recently acquired by Subex Azure. Lochow has also served at AT&T, Bell Canada, and Tech Data. Sipera is venture backed by Austin Ventures, DTEC, Sequoia Capital and STAR Ventures, and has raised $29.5M in funding.
