Interphase Makes Cuts

Plano-based networking hardware firm Interphase Corporation said Thursday that the firm is cutting its workforce by 14 employees, in a restructuring of its United States business operations. The firm said the cuts came as part of an effort to balance its current spending with recent revenue trends. Interphase also said it will close a development facility in Lisle, Illinois. The moves are expected to save the firm $1.5M in annual operating costs. Interphase blamed the revenue issues on timing and deployment of AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA platforms.
