EDS Acquires U.K.-based Vistorm Holdings

IT consulting firm EDS announced Thursday that it has acquired Vistorm Holdings Ltd., a provider of information assurance and managed security services based in the United Kingdom. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. EDS said Vistorm will operate as a separate entity within the company and will retain its existing staff as well as its established IT security brand. Founded in 1991, Vistorm is headquartered in Daresbury, England, and boasts some 220 U.K.-based employees and contractors. EDS is based in Plano, Texas.
