Alert Logic Gets Win

Houston-based hosted IT compliance and security software provider Alert Logic revealed Tuesday that GSI Commerce has chosen an Alert Logic application to assist with its industry and government regulation issues. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. GSI provides services that help e-commerce, multichannel retailing and interactive marketing for business to consumer enterprises. Alert Logic said its Log Manager software-as-a-solution will assist GSI in ensuring the millions of credit card transactions it processes annually comply with regulation standards. Alert Logic added that its software will also help GSI conform to the federal Sarbanes-Oxley Act, which protects investors.
