WhiteFence Adds Texas Power

Houston-based online utility marketplace WhiteFence revealed Thursday that it has added retail electricity provider Texas Power to its roster of clients. As a result, WhiteFence explained, power consumers will be able to determine and secure rate plans for Texas Power through WhiteFence's free online ordering system. WhiteFence operates WhiteFence.com, a comparison-shopping Web site that allows consumers to compare rates from local energy and utility providers, including electricity, natural gas, phone, cable, satellite television and broadband Internet.
