Boundless Network Acquires Minneapolis-Based GWS

Promotional product distributorship Boundless Network announced Tuesday that it has acquired GWS Inc., a Minneapolis-based competitor. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded during the Great Depression, GWS is a family-owned company that has quintupled its top-line revenue since 1979, Boundless Network said. Boundless Network added that its purchase of GWS is part of an expansion strategy to locate and acquire promotional distributorships across the country. Boundless Network is a privately held, venture-backed company headquartered in Austin, Texas. The firm venture backers include Austin Ventures and Silverton Partners.
