Powered Signs Radio Shack

Austin-based Powered Inc., a developer of interactive marketing software, said Thursday that the firm's technology is being used by RadioShack for the firm's new learning center. The new center offers educational courses on topics like wireless communications and multimedia entertainment. Financial imapct of the win was not disclosed. Radio Shack's free site allows its customers to learn about technology; those courses are being provided by Powered, which is venture backed by Austin Ventures and Liberty Mutual. Powered also provides similar offerings to BusinessWeek, HP, iVillage, Motorola, Sony, and others.
