Entrust Wins Norwegian Banking Firm

Dallas-based Entrust, a provider of secure digital identification and information services, revealed Wednesday that Norway's largest financial institution, DnB NOR, has chosen an Entrust solution to combat fraud and safeguard the identities of its online customers. The financial impact of the new business was not disclosed. Entrust said DnB NOR will utilize the zero-touch, fraud-detection component of Entrust's Risk-based Authentication Solution. These tools, Entrust explained, help protect consumer online transactions from fraud when combined with data from Entrust's Open Fraud Intelligence Network. Established in 1822, DnB NOR manages assets in excess of $308 billion and serves more than 2.5 million customers worldwide.
