GlobalSCAPE Taps Veteran Morris for CEO Role
GlobalSCAPE Inc. has named former General Dynamics executive James R. Morris as its chief executive officer, the software publisher reported this morning. GlobalSCAPE described Morris as a 35-year information technology, business development and operations veteran. The San Antonio, Texas-based company said Morris' work history includes vice president-level stops at Veridian, Veritect, Trident Data Systems, SecureInfo, Synteras and the aforementioned defense contractor, General Dynamics. GlobalSCAPE develops wide-area file services technologies and file transfer software, including CuteFTP, a popular file transfer protocol application.
