FMC Technologies Names Kinnear Chairman

FMC Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of equipment for the energy and industrial markets, reported Monday that it has appointed Peter D. Kinnear chairman of its board of directors. The Houston-based company said Kinnear, who is already its president and chief executive officer, succeeds Joseph H. Netherland, who had served as chairman since March 2007. FMC noted that Kinnear has been with the company since 1971. He was named president and chief operating officer in February 2006 and then promoted to CEO in March 2007. His appointment as chairman took effect Friday, FMC added.
