SailPoint Names New Chairman

Austin-based SailPoint Technologies, which develops enterprise identity management software, said today that it has named William Bock as its Chairman of the Board. The new chairman comes as one of SailPoint's investors, Thoma Bravo, will reduce the number of seats on the board to just one. The company said that Chip Virnig, a current board member and Partner at Thoma Bravo, will be nominated for re-election, with its other representatives, Marcel Bernard resigning and Seth Boro, only serving through the end of his term, which ends in November.
