Dell Hosts Microsoft's Azure Cloud

Round Rock-based Dell said Monday that the firm's computers are being used as part of Microsoft's new Azure cloud computing offering. According to Dell, its Data Center Solutions (DCS) division is helping to build out Microsoft's new services, which allow developers to host their web applications in Microsoft data centers. Dell said that its developed highly-customized server platforms for Microsoft for the service. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed.
