Trend Micro Targets Azure Customers With Cybersecurity Offering

Dallas-based cybersecurity software developer Trend Micro is looking to attract more customer running on Microsoft Azure, saying it is offering up its cloud-based "Deep Security as a Service" through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. Microsoft Azure is Microsoft's cloud services offering, and competes against Amazon Web Services (AWS). Trend Micro says the link into Azure gives users the convenience of consolidated cloud billing and usage-based, metered pricing. Trend Micro says its tools help protect hybrid cloud workloads and container environments against such things as malware and vulnerabilities. The company did not announced the pricing scheme behind the offering.
