Hyper9 Officially Announces $8M Funding

Austin-based Hyper9 officially announced $8M in a Series B funding round Thursday, saying that Venrock, Matrix Partners, Silverton Partners and Maples Investments invested in the round. Mike Maples Sr. of Maples Investments joins the company's board. The round had already been disclosed January 27th. Hyper9 was previously known as InovaWave. Hyper9 is developing software for managing virtualization infrastructure.
