Hyper9 Releases Virtualization Management Tool

Austin-based Hyper9, a venture backed developer of software for managing virtualized server environments, announced Wednesday afternoon that the firm has officially released its flagship product. According to Hyper9, the firm's product is now generally available, and allows administrators of virtual infrastructure to manage change, configuration, and performance issues. Hyper9 is venture backed by Venrock, Matrix Partners, Silverton Partners and Maples Investments, and recently landed $8M in a Series B funding round. The firm was formerly known as InovaWave.
