Hyper9 Upgrades Virtualization Tool

Austin-based Hyper9, a developer of virtualization management software, said yesterday that it has released a new version of its virtual environment optimization tools. According to the firm, the latest release of its software includes new widget-based dashboards, visualization of capacity and performance, tools to measure and analyze storage I/O, and mapping of application servers to virtual infrastructure. Hyper9 is backed by Venrock, Matrix Partners, Silverton Partners and Maples Investments.
