Handango Launches Smartphone Application Software

Las Colinas-based Handango is targeting carriers, device manufacturers, and retailers this morning with new software to help market smart phone software. According to Handango, its new App Store Accelerator provides a way for mobile companies to sell mobile applications to consumers. The firm said the software includes things like content management, segmentation, merchandising, and promotion support, billing APIs, and other features. Pricing on the new software was not released. Handango is a provider of smart phone applicaitons and related tools.
