EF Johnson Wins $500K Order from U.S. Navy
Irving-based EF Johnson Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of secure communications devices, announced Wednesday that it has received a $500,000 work order from the U.S. Navy. EF Johnson explained that, in return for the funds, it will provide the Navy with its virtual perimeter monitoring system. EF Johnson noted that the funding increment represents an addition to the $19 million task order it received from the Navy and announced in October 2008. Michael Jalbert, EF Johnson's president and chief executive officer, said the virtual perimeter monitoring systems will be deployed at Naval installations throughout the United States and the Pacific region.
