EF Johnson Gets $1M Order

Irving-based EF Johnson Technologies, a manufacturer of secure communications equipment, revealed Tuesday that one of its subsidiary companies has received a $1 million order from a U.S. Department of Defense customer. Michael Jalbert, EF Johnson's president and chief executive officer, said the task order specifies the Irving-based company's subsidiary, 3e Technologies International, to provide secure wireless devices for the transmission of data, voice and video as part of a DoD maritime application. Jalbert added that the order is likely the first of many his company expects to receive over the next few years.
