Affinegy Rebrands Home Networking Software

Austin-based Affinegy, a developer of software for helping consumers to install their home networks, reported today that the firm is rebranding its InstaLAN home networking product line to "DigiDo." The firm said the software helps consumers to connect new devices to home networks, including a "digital lifestyle" guide, a product which helps end users connect to and manage broadband routers and other network devices, and also enables analytics for service providers. The company claims its products are being used by Charter Communications, Clearwire, Cox Communications, Time Warner Cable, Virgin Media, and others.
