i2 Targets Semiconductor Industry

Dallas-based i2 Technologies said this week that it has rolled out new software targeted at fabless semiconductor companies. According to the firm, the new product--i2 Planning On Demand--provides demand and supply planning, delivered as software-as-a-service, for managing forecasts and delivery of fabless semiconductor firms. Among features of the new software are managing of supply chains and supply chain performance of semiconductor manufacturers.
