BorderWare Technologies Acquired By WatchGuard

Canadian email and web security firm BorderWare Technologies, whose U.S. headquarters are located in Irving, Texas, has been acquired by WatchGuard Technologies. WatchGuard, which manufactures security appliances, said that BorderWare has 90 employees, and was founded in 1994; BorderWare's headquarters are in Toronto, but it runs all of its U.S. operations in Irving. No details on how the acquisition will affect BorderWare's Texas employees was released by the firms.
