WatchGuard Video Rolls Out Police Body Cameras

Dallas-based WatchGuard Video, a dveloper of in-car video systems for the law enforcement industry, said Thursday afternoon that it has launched two products, including a new HD body camera, and a new in-car video system for law enforcement vehicles. WatchGuard said its VISTA body-worn camera and 4RE Panoramic X2 in-car video systems can be linked, and offer up to 9 hours of HD video recording on a single charge. Pricin on the new products were not disclosed. The company says it has more than 50 engineers working on its products, and that it supplies its products to more than one third of law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and Canada.
