Alert Logic Sees Growth

Houston-based IT compliance and security firm Alert Logic is reporting this morning that it has seen strong growth in the first half of 2009. The privately held firm did not disclose financials, but it said it increased revenues by 53 percent from the same period a year ago, and increased its customer based by 61 percent. The firm said that compliance requirements, particularly needs to meet Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirements, drove the firm's growth. Alert Logic said its products help merchants needing to meet PCI with a way to meet several critical PCI requirements easily and cost-effectively.
