Dell, Napster Partner On Music Deal
Round Rock-based Dell and music service Napster announced this morning that the two companies have inked a deal, which will provide a year's worth of free music to Dell customers. According to the firms, Napster will provide one year of its music streaming service, plus 60 MP3s, as part of the purchase of Dell Studio and Inspiron PCs sold directly by Dell in the U.S., U.K., and Germany, as well as for Dell machines sold through Best Buy. Best Buy acquired Napster in September of last year. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
