LifeSize Rolls Low End HD Conferencing System With Skype Support

Austin-based LifeSize is further extending its HD video conferencing systems into the low end, announcing today that it has rolled out a new system for less than $2500. The firm also said it has linked its products to the popular Skype voice-over-IP calling service. LifeSize said tis LifeSyze Passpast HD video communication systems will deliver 720p, 30 frames per second video conferencing, and will connect directly to Skype. The new product is $2499, with a version with integrated camera and mic for $3499.
