Alert Logic Snags Two From SunGard

Houston-based Alert Logic, a developer of security and IT compliance software, announced Monday that it has hired on two new executives. The firm said that Greg Davis has joined the firm as Vice President of Sales, and Marty McGuffin has joined the company as Vice President of Operations. Davis joins from SunGard Data Sytsems, and has also served at VeriCenter; McGuffin also joins from SunGard, at SunGard Availability Services, and also previously was at VeriCenter. He's also served at Hewitt & Associates and Exult.
